My stay at Hotel De Provence was a delightful experience. The location was convenient for exploring the charming town and its surroundings, such as the Verdon gorges and the sunny Lubéron region. The surrounding villages of the southern Alps, like Barcelonnette, added a touch of history to my trip. The personalized service from the welcoming staff, equipped with great language skills, truly made me feel at home. The renovated Provençal-themed rooms were cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. I particularly enjoyed the homely touches like the soft white towels and the lovely hot water in the bathroom. The free WiFi throughout the property was a plus for staying connected during my visit. The reserved motorbike parking and secure bicycle storage also catered well to active travelers wanting to explore the area on two wheels. I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a cozy and historically rich stay in Digne-les-Bains.
